Designed to offer driving experiences in pairs, the IPK Double Seater Rental Kart incorporates the same advanced technological features that distinguish the entire Rental Kart Product Line manufactured by the company, but in a less conventional form. IPK Engineering technicians have applied their expertise to a model designed to accommodate two users simultaneously, making it an ideal addition for facilities looking to enhance their fleet with a safe and appealing solution.
The highest safety standards are ensured through multiple systems tested by the company, including a patented impact absorption system consisting of a series of elastic rings positioned on each side of the rental kart. Combined with the integrated side roll bars and the heightened perimeter protection, these elements enhance impact absorption capacity. To further minimize risks, a divider has been added between the two seating positions in the leg rest area, preventing the passenger from interfering with the driver’s foot controls. Additionally, the two roll bars, equipped with a new helmet guard, provide enhanced protection for users.
The IPK Double Seater Rental Kart has been designed to accommodate drivers of all sizes, starting from a height of 160 cm. It features two ergonomic seats, with the driver’s seat easily adjustable over a range of 13 cm. Both steering wheels—fully functional for the driver and fixed for the passenger—are angled and made of solid rubber, ensuring high grip while minimizing wear and reducing driver fatigue. The optimal driving position is further supported by non-slip pedals for the driver and a corresponding pedal set for the passenger.
Despite the increase in components, the ease of maintenance that characterizes the entire IPK Rental range remains unchanged. The quality of the materials and the reinforcement of critical points, such as the C-section of the chassis and the engine plate, enhance the durability of the rental kart while reducing operating costs for karting facilities. Maintenance interventions are also streamlined: bumper slots facilitate quick tire replacements without the need to remove the entire perimeter strip, full-floor protective covers safeguard moving parts, and the brake fluid reservoir remains visible at all times for continuous monitoring.
Building on an already solid foundation, the two-seater model is continually refined, supported by the company’s Racing division. This is evident in modifications such as the lowering of the seat to enhance the driving experience and the adoption of a braking system derived from racing karts. The IPK Double Seater Rental Kart has gained recognition for its ability to provide entertainment on both outdoor and indoor tracks to a wide and diverse audience, from parents introducing their children to karting for the first time, to experienced drivers mentoring beginners, to friends and colleagues enjoying a shared experience, even in corporate team-building events.
